Anderson Strudwick promotes Mark Thompson to Senior Vice PresidentInvestments. Anderson Strudwick, Inc., a private investment banking and brokerage firm announced the promotion of Mark Thompson. “Mark has consistently performed in the top tier of our firm over the last several years,” said J. Todd Newton, chief executive officer and president of Anderson Strudwick. “His contributions to our Charlotte branch have been substantial and this promotion recognizes him as being among the most accomplished financial consultants at our firm.”

Thompson joined Anderson Strudwick in 2004. He is a graduate of Texas Tech where he received a BA in accounting.

ALLIANCE FORMED TO SUPPORT REALTORS. Carolina’s Realtor Resource Alliance was created when founding members began working together to host educational, social and informational events for area Realtors. Founding members include Chris Reshetar, Summit Funding; Carol Schulenberg, Ballantyne Home Staging; Gail Matre Alloco, Matre Law Firm; and Marianne Linker, Client Linker. The alliance has already hosted two events: a Thanksgiving luncheon in South Charlotte and a December Holiday Appreciation Celebration at Black Lion on Park Road. Buddy was lost in the Ballantyne area but has been found.

LOST DOG NOW FOUND. A newly adopted dog from the Charlotte Humane Society, Buddy, got loose at his new home in the Ballantyne area. He was found last night. The society’s Facebook page is here.

The PAWS in The Panhandle Rescue & Adoption Group Thrift Store is now open in the Zimmer Business Park on Marvin Road in Indian Land Directions: Turn onto Marvin Road directly in front of Aldi on Highway 521. In 7 tenths of a mile, turn left into Zimmer Business Park and follow road straight into the Park until you come to building 7 on your left.
